“We support all measures and steps taken by the Lebanese cabinet since it is aware of the situation in Lebanon,” Patriarch Rai said before heading to Rome.
He also called on relatives of abducted troops to reopen the Dahr el-Baydar road, stressing that cutting roads obstructs the movements of all citizens.
Rai also congratulated the Lebanese on the holy occasion of the Eid al-Adha, expressing his hope that this event be an opportunity for officials to rethink their visions for a better Lebanon.
