[PHOTOS] LAF soldier defects from army, joins jihadists

Al-Nusra Front announced on Friday via its Twitter account that a Lebanese Armed Forces soldier defected from the army and joined the jihadists.

The LAF soldier was identified as Mohammad Antar and hails from the al-Zaharieh region in the northern city of Tripoli.

Security sources told LBCI that the defected soldier ran away from the army several weeks ago and has a search warrant issued against him.
