Health Minister Wael Abou Faour said Wednesday that corrupt food products that harm the Lebanese citizens’ health are affecting all people and are not related to a specific political team or goal.
In a press conference held to follow up on the issue of food safety, Abou Faour stressed that he will never be a source of disappointment to the Lebanese people by ending his campaign.
In this regard, Abou Faour revealed that a number of institutions improved their situation and thus asked the Health Ministry to conduct another inspection.
Beirut slaughterhouse, he added, has yet to conform to the legal health criteria.
