Fistfight closes Sidon registration facility
The state-run National News Agency reported on Friday that security forces closed the motor vehicle registration facility in the southern city of Sidon after a fistfight erupted between two people.

The agency added that police closed the facility after a dispute occurred between an employee and a person tasked with following up on transactions.

Police ordered all employees and the people present during the incident out of the facility and closed its doors.

The employee, who was identified as Qassem G. accused Mahmoud B. of attacking him in his office, the agency added.

But Mahmoud claimed that Qassem unlawfully asked him for an amount of LL2,000 for every new driving license issued, the NNA said.
