Military expert dismantles bomb found on road between Zgharta and Tripoli

The state-run National News Agency reported on Saturday that a military expert detonated a bomb found on a side road between the district of Zgharta and the northern city of Tripoli.

The agency added that the bomb, which was set to explode, was found on the side road of the town of Majdlaya that is located between the city of Tripoli and the town of Zgharta.

This as the Lebanese army arrested two people at dawn at the Majdlaya checkpoint after tossing a bomb near the army.
