Future bloc MP Jean Ogassapian stated on Wednesday that the phenomenon of the Islamic State has become a great threat at the local and international levels, stressing that Lebanon is now the arena of IS plots in the region.
On another note, MP Ogassapian told LBCI’s Nharkom Said that the course of dialogue between the Future Movement and Hezbollah was disrupted after the Quneitra attack and Hezbollah’s response.
He also noted that former Prime Minister Saad Hariri is keen on reaching fruitful results with Hezbollah in a bid to elect a new president, ease sectarian tension in Lebanon, and hold the parliamentary elections.
