Former PM Hariri says dialogue with Hezbollah aims to uphold stability

Former Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri said on Saturday that dialogue sessions being held between Hezbollah and the Future Movement aim to “secure the minimum level of stability on the security and political levels in order to revive the economic sector and improve the people’s living conditions”.

“I hope the contacts will pay off so that the cabinet could resume its meetings to address outstanding issues,” Hariri said after he received, at Beit al-Wasat, a delegation of the Economic Bodies, headed by former minister Adnan Kassar.

Hariri also noted that he is following up, as much as possible, on the Lebanese economic situation, adding “the country is going through major economic and social challenges”.
