Hezbollah condemns Tunisia’s attack

Hezbollah strongly condemned on Thursday the “heinous terrorist crime” that left 19 people killed at Tunisia’s national museum, and called for global outcry to fight terrorism.

In a statement, Hezbollah said that “this crime is considered a ring in the chain of terrorism that affects human beings, sanctuaries and heritages, and hits security and stability and defames the image of Islam, and tears apart the unity of the nation and threatens the future of its children and their safe living.”

“Terrorism does not distinguish one country from another, one sect from another or one political or social group from another, but spreads its terrorism and hatred on all to serve only the Zionist enemy and those who stand behind it,” the statement added.

Gunmen stormed on Wednesday the Bardo Museum inside the heavily guarded parliament compound in central Tunis, killing 17 foreign tourists and two Tunisians.
