Child succumbs to injuries sustained in a car accident in Akkar

Child Zeinab Itawi who was seriously wounded yesterday in a car accident in Al-Kawashra village in Akkar succumbed to her wounds after her health deteriorated, the state-run National News Agency reported.

The accident took place when Bassam B. who was driving his Envoy SUV mistakenly crashed thorough the entrance of one of the houses in the village of Al-Kawashra, injuring five children.

No further details were provided.
