Speaker Berri praises FM Zarif’s visit to Lebanon

House Speaker Nabih Berri tackled on Wednesday with deputies the visit of Iranian Foreign Minister to Lebanon Mohammad Javad Zarif.

During the Wednesday periodic meeting, Speaker Berri quoted Zarif as saying that “the presidential elections are part of the country's internal affairs that only Lebanese nationals must resolve.”

Berri also praised Zarif’s visit to Lebanon, pointing out that the latter emphasized Iran's keenness on providing Lebanon with support so long as it does not interfere with the Lebanon's internal affairs.
