Video depicting security forces while beating civil society activist

You Stink campaign posted on Saturday on its Facebook page a video depicting one of the activists while being beaten by security forces.

Earlier, Head of the Public Relations division of the Internal Security Forces Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Msallam said that the freedom of expression is a rightful demand only if it is practiced under the law.

“We believe in freedom of expression which is a constitutional right, but it should be expressed under the law, which means the protests should not be violent” noted Msallam in a press conference he held over Thursday's downtown protests that turned violent.
