Roads reopen in Lebanon’s Baalbek after brief closure

Trucks and tractors cleared on Monday roads blocked by mounds of dirt in Lebanon's Baalbeck after shop owners protesting the lack of security in the town placed them there.

The road closure paralyzed the movement in the city and prevented students from attending various schools.

The head of Baalbeck municipality Dr. Hamad Hssein contacted the concerned parties in order to find a solution to the crisis.
