Lebanese navy halts boat carrying illegal migrants

The Lebanese navy halted on Wednesday dawn a boat carrying over 50 illegal Palestinian, Lebanese, and Syrian migrants in Lebanon's regional waters.

The boat, which is intended to only carry 15 persons, was dangerously overloaded.

The boat and the passengers were returned back to the Lebanese shores, while investigations were laucnhed.
