The suspect allegedly admitted that he was tasked with moving funds from IS’ leadership in Syria to the dormant cells affiliated to it in Lebanon.
He also confessed that he was preparing for a suicide attack in Tripoli against soldiers of the Lebanese troops through an explosive belt, in addition to his participation in battles against the army in said city.
