Nahas: Dispute over electricity plan should not be made public
Economy Minister Nicolas Nahas told Voice of Lebanon radio station that the dispute over the electricity plan should not be made public through press coverage in order to maintain the image of a unified cabinet.

“The ministers are all seeking to find an exit to this crisis and to render the electricity plan a success”, Nahas said, adding that talks pertaining to the plan in question are serious and will bear their desired fruits.

Nahas was quoted as saying that no one holds a magical solution and every minister has the right to pose the questions he sees fit.

Nahas ruled out the possibility of resorting to a ministerial vote if a common vision for the electricity plan is not reached.

“I do not think that things will come to this”, Nahas added.
