Lebanon says it is coordinating with UNIFIL, army over Israeli encirclement of journalists

The Lebanese Minister of Information said authorities are following up with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) and the Lebanese army after Israeli forces reportedly surrounded journalists in the town of At Tiri in southern Lebanon, holding Israel responsible for their safety.

The state-run National News Agency reported that Israeli forces had encircled journalists Amal Khalil and Zeinab Faraj in the town, preventing both the Lebanese army and the Red Cross from evacuating them.
