Editors Syndicate forced to recount after more ballot slips found
Votes in the elections of the Lebanese Press Editors Syndicate were recounted after organizers found 6 additional ballot slips.

Elections began Tuesday morning at the UNESCO Palace, in a calm and democratic atmosphere.

Two lists compete, the first headed by Elias Aoun with a second incomplete list headed by Elie Haj, in addition to independent candidates Tarek Medlege and Baria al-Ahmar.

By 1 pm, 250 out of the 650 persons listed on the Syndicate's table had voted.
