CGTL calls for demonstrations
The president of the General Labor Confederation, Ghassan Ghosn held an urgent meeting with the confederation members on Tuesday to discuss the minimum wage issue. 

“The Government promised us since its formation to ameliorate the social and economic standards in Lebanon but till now nothing have been done in this regard” Ghosn said after the meeting.

The CGTL asked to raise wages to 1,250,000 LBP to allow the Lebanese to enjoy a better life. The Confederation called for demonstrations and sit ins all across the Lebanon on the 12th of September to raise the voice against the current financial policies of the government
