Faisal Karami calls for emergency cabinet session

Sports and Youth Minister Faisal Karami called on the cabinet Saturday to hold an emergency session to address Tripoli’s bloody events.

Karami hoped that the cabinet session would agree that Lebanon’s “legitimate” forces control Tripoli’s security situation “by force”, militias be disarmed and "illegitimate" political movements, aiming at dragging Tripoli into the Syrian turmoil, be banned.
