Siniora: Keeping telecommunications data hidden decision to liquidate arms opponents

Future bloc leader MP Fouad Siniora said on Saturday that the problem in Lebanon is illegitimate weapons.

During a national gathering in Majdelyoun on the occasion of the first anniversary of the current government, Siniora described the government as “the government of instability, security tension and threats to peace”, hoping that it will not disassociate itself from the attacks carried out by the Syrian regime’s Shabbiha along the northern border.

“What is Premiere Najib Mikati waiting for to disclose telecommunications data? Is he waiting until all politicians claiming freedom are liquidated?” Siniora wondered.

Siniora said that keeping telecommunications data hidden from security apparatuses is a “decision to kill and liquidate all opponents of weapons, the party of weapons and the government.”
