Geagea: We want to win Koura sub-elections politically and humanely
Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said that he wanted to win the Koura sub-elections on Sunday not only in the number of votes, “but also in the humane and political impressions.”

His words came Thursday upon chairing a meeting for the Lebanese Forces in Meerab.

"The Koura of Charles Malik, who shared in the formulation of the Human Rights Universal Declaration, must not change into Koura of President Bashar Assad, who kills his people," said Geagea. Accordingly, he called for much cooperation among March 14 sides to vote intensively for LF candidate Fady Karam.

On a different note, Geagea attacked the sides in the current government that are refusing to hand over the necessary data in connection with the assassination attempt against him in Meerab and that against MP Boutros Harb in Badaro.

"Refusing to hand the data shows the ill intentions of some sides in the government that appear as if they want to assist criminals and help them avoid punishment, in a way that keeps the criminals’ moves hidden from the security apparatus”, he said.

Separately, Geagea received at his residence in Meerab Future Bloc member Ziad Qaderi, who expressed his dissatisfaction about the government's approval of the 2012 budget.
