LAF urges supporters to end their sit-ins

The Army Command confirmed on Tuesday that it reserves the right to file a lawsuit with the concerned judicial authorities against those doing harm to the military institution and its dignity.

The Command explained in a statement that it is not concerned with all the movements staged in solidarity with the army, calling on those who sympathize with the LAF to end their sit-ins and road blocking, which “would [deal a blow to] the citizens’ interests and daily lives”.

“While the country is suffering from political, social and many other problems, some MPs and political leaders continue [their policy] of instigation against the army as well as their smear campaigns against a number of officers, particularly with regards to the Kuweikhat incident”, it stressed.
