Citizens break in Sidon’s Water Authority building
A number of citizens stormed into Sidon’s Water Authority Corporation on Thursday to protest continuous water shortages in the city, especially since the holy month of Ramadan is at the door.

In turn, Popular Nasserite Organization head Osama Saad threatened escalation if the water shortages continue.

In a related context, Water Authority General Manager Ahmad Nizam received a delegation of Sidon’s citizens that highlighted the chronic water problem in the city.

Nizam promised the delegation to begin implementing “serious and swift” solutions to end the crisis as soon as possible.
