Wahab: Jumblatt's actions indicate support towards parties involved in my assassination attempt

The Arab Tawhid Party Media Office clarified on Sunday that even until now it stands clear from accusing PSP leader Walid Jumblatt of involvement in the attempted assassination of former Minister Wiam Wahab, although it added, that his actions indicate support towards the hit man, Raghed Eid, who had apparently been recruited for the job.

In a statement released by the office Wahab responded to Jumblatt’s comments released via An-Nahar Daily which confirm his strong ties with Brigadier Wissam Hassan, saying that it supersedes that of his. He went on to express shock at Jumblatt’s remaining comments which accuse Wahab of sabotaging political offices in the Jabbal area by order of Rustom Ghazaleh.

In his concluding remarks Wahhab stated that all information regarding his assassination attempt are now in the hands of security apparatuses, adding that investigations are ongoing to reveal all leads to the crime
