National Islamic Gathering: The problem in Lebanon is Hezbollah's seizure of the state’s decision

The National Islamic Gathering held a meeting on Sunday at the home of MP Mohammed Kabbara in Tripoli, whereby it declared that the main problem in Lebanon is Hezbollah’s “seizure of the state's decision in favor of the Syrian regime and Iran's imperial project”.

In a statement released, the council said that the “escalation in Lebanese affairs” serves only to draw attention from what is happening in Syria, stressing the need to maintain security in the city of Tripoli, and Lebanon generally is of dire importance.
