Roads to avoid on Army Day
The ISF general directorate announced on Tuesday that a series of traffic measures will be taken Wednesday, July 8th, on the occasion of the Lebanese Army Day:      

- Vehicles will be denied passage on the international road on Wednesday, from 5:00 a.m. until the end of the celebration.     

- No parking will be allowed on the sides of the road extending from Sidon until Joumhour, near the intersection of Matta Gallery.      

- No parking will be allowed on the sides of the road extending from the Joumhour intersection- Matta Gallery towards the intersection of Mar Abda and Fawqa Church- Baabda Square- the Hadath intersection /Baabda (the Snawbara intersection)- the Baabda intersection- al-Sfeir bridge.       

- No parking will be allowed on the sides of the road extending from the Baabda square- the boulevard of the Antonin Institution- the Hadath Kafaat square.      

- Vehicles will be denied passage on the road extending towards Al-Sayad in al-Joumhour main road as traffic will be diverted to Baabda Square- the boulevard of the Antonin Institution- Hadath Square- Kafaat- Semaan Gallery, and the Joumhour- Mar Abda and Fawqa church- Baabda Square- Hadath/Baabda intersection (Snawbara intersection) - Baabda intersection.      

- Vehicles will be denied passage on the road extending from the Carantina highway up towards al-Jabal and the Bekaa on al-Sayyad roundabout, as traffic will be diverted towards the Baabda intersection- Snawbara- Baabda Square- Mar Abda and Fawqa- Joumhour.    

- Vehicles will be denied passage on the road extending from Beirut’s Southern Suburb and Kamil Chamoun Boulevard towards al-Jabal, the Bekaa and Gallery Semaan intersection as traffic will be diverted towards al-Kafaat- Hadath- Baabda Square, Joumhour.      

- Vehicles will be denied passage on the road extending from the Airport Highway towards al-Sayyad, before Sfeir Bridge, as traffic will be diverted towards Hadath.
