Sleiman: The defense strategy aims at resisting any Israeli aggression

President Michel Sleiman said on Saturday that the only purpose of setting a defense strategy is to "resist any Israeli aggression against Lebanese territories."

During his meeting with delegations of political and religious dignitaries visiting him at Beiteddine Palace, Sleiman said that the alternative to cooperation would be discord and strife “which are rejected by all the Lebanese people”.

Sleiman had moved to the Beiteddine Palace, the summer seat of Lebanese presidents where an official reception ceremony was held in his honor.
