Sayyed Fadlallah's office: May 6 is first day of Ramadan
The office of the late Shiite preacher Sayyed Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah announced on Tuesday that next Monday, April 06 is the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.
Ramadan is the most sacred month of the year For Muslims in which the Quran was revealed to the  prophet Muhammad.
During Ramadan, Muslims fast, abstain from pleasures and pray to become closer to God.
