Lebanese University contract teachers protest

Lebanese University contract teachers committee carried out a sit-in outside the Grand Serail in Riadh El Solh Square on Wednesday. The demonstrators demanded the execution of their demands and threatened to abstain from practicing their jobs within the upcoming academic year, if the permanent 10 year contract resolution is not passed.

The demonstrators held sings and placards asking to isolate their demands from political pressure, stressing that their file has been ready for several months awaiting the cabinet’s approval.
