Mokdad Clan releases 21 ordinary Syrian citizens
The official spokesperson of Mokdad Clan, Maher Mokdad said on Friday that the first phase of its field movement is over, adding “other measures will be announced at a later time after we gave the ICRC a chance to play a mediating role.”

In a press conference held at the clan’s siege, Mokdad announced that all those who were proven not to be affiliated to the Free Syrian Army have been released, adding “21 ordinary Syrian citizens were released." He pointed out that the clan is committed to civil peace and do no adopt any position or act that is not said or decided by the clan’s committee and official spokesperson.
The Mokdad clan also showed a video of the persons in their custody.

One of the kidnapped said that a Qatari man sent him to Lebanon to form military cells to undermine security and stability in Lebanon. He said that he works under the supervision of Captain Hassan Hamad Abu Hamzeh.

One of the men in the custody of the Mokdad Clan revealed that he is living with a young man called Ali at the Burj al-Barajneh camp, adding that they were asked to cleanse Lebanon from the supporters of President Bashar Assad.

One of the abductees also announced that he met with MP Khaled Daher at the above-mentioned camp.
