Abu Ghida holds hearing for both Samaha’s driver and bodyguard

First Military Judge Riad Abu Ghida continued investigations in the case of former Minister Michel Samaha and in this context held a hearing for both Samaha’s driver and bodyguard.

On another note, attorney Sakhr el-Hachem met with Samaha at the military police’s siege in the military court’s building without any witnesses to discuss the case.

Former Minister Samaha was arrested on Thursday 9th of August over involvement in explosion plots in several Lebanese regions, sources told LBCI.

In those regards, Samaha’s defense attorneys filed a legal complaint on Monday 13th of August against General Ashraf Rifi and Colonel Wissam al-Hassan on charges of leaking information, in contrast to the investigations’ confidentiality and credibility and to the notion of innocent until proven guilty.
