Hope again after the release of Yaacoub Shamoun

Always positive, Joseph and Mary Mansourati haven't lost hope yet. Hope that their son Dany is alive in the Syrian prisons and hope in his return. The return of long detained Yaacoub Shamoun to Lebanon after 27 years of imprisonment in Syria gave them just that.

The name of the released detainee was absent from the list submitted to the Lebanese and Syrian officials and he personally assured that at least 5 other Lebanese were with him in the prison cell.

The released prisoners from Syria are certain that many others are still imprisoned there.

Lebanese politicians should not rely on what they have been told by the Syrian side "the absence of Lebanese in Syrian prisons is not true".
