Qabbani: Lebanon an example of peaceful coexistence

Mufti of the Republic Sheikh Mohammad Rashid Qabbani said that Lebanon is the example of peaceful coexistence between Christians and Muslims and a guarantee to the stability of the Arab world.

“Lebanon will always the country where love, justice and peaceful coexistence meet”, Qabbani added during International Conference on the Phenomenon of Takfir in Saudi Arabia.

Skeikh Qabbani described the phenomenon of Takfir “as one of the most dangerous problems in the Muslim world and the high-way towards strife”, calling for fighting this phenomenon with science and culture.

Mufti Qabbani stressed that Islam is based on fairness, love and cooperation amongst people.
