With the beginning of September, the month traditionally known for syndicates and educational demands, the cabinet faces a challenge in solving the problem of private school teachers who are demanding a raise. Maybe the solution will have to wait for the cabinet’s next session.           

Meanwhile, the demands of expelling the Syrian ambassador from Lebanese territories are multiplying as Progressive Socialist Party’s youth organization followed 14 March steps and demonstrated in Samir Kassir’s Square.           

This as, exerted efforts to solve the Lebanese detainees in Syria’s case remained away from the media and witnessed some sort of a truce.          

As for the Syrian crisis, it stole the spotlights in the NAM summit and revealed 2 extremely opposite positions. The first is controlled by Damascus and aligned with Assad’s regime, as the second is completely aligned with Syrian Opposition that keeps refusing to maintain a dialogue.          

Inside this mess, clashes continue in Syria and the opposition announces its control over half of Aleppo despite the regime’s air raids.
