Berri refers various laws to parliamentary committees

Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri referred the new electoral draft approved by the government to the relevant parliamentary committees.

He also referred to the parliamentary committees the suggestion of amending the parliamentary elections’ law presented by MP Nehmtallah Abi Nasr and MPAlain Aoun to establish a new one whereby deputies of each religious community are elected by voters on the base of proportionality on the basis of considering Lebanon as one electoral district.
