Book prices set parents affright as financial burdens rise
With the start of the new academic year, parents have to face the old but now rising financial burdens accompanying school fees; book prices.

The average cost of stationary per student is around 500,000 LBP, raising the burden of the average family composed of three kids to $2,000 USD.             

In this context, School Bookkeeper Mrs.  Nada Wardan told LBCI “it is better for the parents to buy used books rather than new ones”.
