Sahnawi breaks into 2nd floor of Adlieh telecom switch

Telecommunication Minister Nicolas Sahnawi headed to the Adlieh telecom switch on Friday as part of a resolution made by the telecommunication Ministry to reclaim the 2nd floor of the switch from Ogero.

As Sahanwi was unable to open the door via entry code, he broke it down and entered the floor, accompanied by several officials and heads of department in the Ministry. The maintenance team the installed a new iron lock with secret code, known only by the ministry.

The settlement reached after the clash between the ISF and former Telecommunication Minister Charbel Nahas required that the floor be closed and guarded by the LAF.

It is worth mentioning that the LAFs protection detail was set to end days ago as the Telecommunication Ministry regained its mandate over the switch.
