Suicide attempt and robbing in Bekaa

After shooting himself, Citizen Elias Bechara Helwe born in 1921 in Ablah was rushed to Tal Shiha hospital for treatment.

His wife confirmed that he shot himself with a hunting gun, pointing out that her husband tried 10 months ago to commit suicide by ingesting toxic substances.
In another incident, Citizen Walid Ajwad Ghanem born in 1982 claimed to Dahr el-Baidar police station that while going with his wife from Beirut to Bekaa, 2 unidentified men on a motorcycle in Mreijat area stabbed him and robbed him of an amount of $150 USD only to flee to an unknown destination.
