8 Syrians arrested for using falsified passports

The ISF's Directorate General arrested on September 19th 2012, six Syrian citizens at Rafik Hariri International Airport for attempting to travel to European countries using falsified Swedish passports and fictitious names.

The investigations revealed that they had paid the amount of $63,000 to obtain the false documents.

In the same context, 2 other Syrians carrying Syrian fake passports were arrested at Beirut Airport on September 20th 2012.

Mount Lebanon's Public Prosecution referred the 8 Syrian citizens to the Judiciary.

The ISF apparatuses are now tracking the gang members who made the forgeries.
