Is Mikati taking advantage of Hariri’s financial troubles?

Al Siyasa al Kuwaitiya newspaper reported that the opponents of the Future movement said that PM Najib Mikati is taking advantage of former PM Saad Hariri’s financial troubles to draw in a number of Hariri’s supporters by offering them financial assistance.

Well informed sources told the newspaper that prominent Lebanese officials living in Tariq Al Jadide in Beirut, one of the strongholds of Future movement’s supporters, received large sums of money from the Determination and Happiness Association headed by Mikati.

The sources added that the association was working on filling forms with the names of destitute citizens in need of financial help.
