Aoun's assassination attempt causes conflicting positions

After the alleged assassination attempt against Chief of Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun, descriptions of the shooting varied.                    

According to Future Bloc former MP Mustafa Alloush, authorities must prove that the fire was on Aoun's car and assure that sedition was not intended from the whole incident.                

In a talk to LBCI, Future Bloc MP Khaled Daher mentioned that the assassination attempt is a "delusion" aiming at increasing the population of FPM.                For his part, MP Ahmad Fatfat questioned the seriousness of the incident considering that Aoun wanted to join the wave of assassinations.                

In contrast to this, Head of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Mohammad Raad criticized the fact that some are enlarging the issues and fabricating such incidents on the expense of the higher interest of the country.             

Meanwhile, Former Minister Fayez Shoker assured that LF chief Samir Geagea is "smaller than the Syrian regime's targets."
