PM Diab presides meeting over Tripoli conditions

Prime Minister Hassan Diab presided on Monday over a meeting devoted to delving into the conditions of the northern city of Tripoli.

The meeting was attended by a delegation from the city's municipal council headed by Dr. Riyad Yamak, the President of the Council for Development and Reconstruction Nabil El-Jisr, the Secretary General of the Higher Relief Commission, Major General Mohammad Khair, PM’s Advisor Khodor Taleb and the Head of PM's Office, Judge Khaled Akkari.

Projects implemented by the Council for Development and Reconstruction in Tripoli, as well as obstacles to their implementation were discussed, and the attendees have set a timetable for the completion of these projects within a maximum of four months.

The meeting has also featured urgent works to be delivered in the city, especially with regard to the restoration of buildings threatening collapse. On his part, PM Diab promised to follow up on these demands and strive to meet them.
