Like every year, unexpected rains cause road catastrophes across Lebanon; rivers overflow and roads flood.                 

This event takes place every year even though the country's four seasons are all too known, and the beginning of the autumn season is a predetermined date.          

Unexpected rains do not differ much from discussions pertaining to the electoral law albeit the latter occurs every four years.               

The predetermined electoral day always sets the score for political parties, that race against one another in an effort to come up with the law of all electoral laws.             

However all efforts or lack of thereof yield little results and Lebanon hurls to the abyss of the elections with the same old law.

Meanwhile in Syria, news seemed to top rebel sites of the clashes that allegedly occurred at the birth town of Syrian president Bachar Assad, between non-other than the Assad Family and the Kheir clan.               

These clashes were reportedly a result of the arrest of rebel Abdul Aziz Kheir.              

From New York, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon called on the regime to exert "mercy" on the Syrian people.                  

As for Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Moallem, he did not spare the US, France, Qatar, Saudi Arabic and Turkey of accusation pertaining to funding terrorism in Syria, adding that calls for Assad to step down are a direct interference in Syrian affairs.
