Abandoned baby found outside church in Akkar

A 10-month-old baby girl was found on Tuesday morning outside the hall of the Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady of Deliverance in the Akkar town of Sheikh Mohammad.

This as an Internal Security Forces and the Information Branch patrol rushed to the scene while the Red Cross transported the baby to the Abdallah al-Rasi Governmental Hospital in Halba to check her health condition.

Work is under way to check the surveillance cameras in the area to identify who abandoned the child outside the church.
