Diab calls on political forces to accelerate formation of government that can address problems facing Lebanon
Caretaker Prime Minister, Dr. Hassan Diab, issued the following statement:

Once again, terrorism strikes our homeland, and once again the heroes of the military establishment fall as martyrs in an attack on the Army site in Araman, in defense of Lebanon and its people, and to prevent seditions and problems amidst the current ordeal facing the country.

This crime has occurred after the outstanding operation carried out by the ISF Information Branch in Wadi Khaled against terrorism.

While we strongly condemn the attack on the army and security forces, we condole the military establishment and the families of the two heroic martyrs, commend the security achievement in Wadi Khaled, and call on the political forces to accelerate the formation of a government that can address the problems facing Lebanon.
