MP Kabbara calls for formation of a neutral rescue government

Tripoli MP Mohammad Kabbara called Monday for the resignation of the current government and the formation of a “neutral rescue cabinet.”

In a press conference held following a meeting at his Tripoli residence with area dignitaries, Kabbara stressed that security in Tripoli is a red line, calling on the ISF and LAF to deploy and restore calm in the city.

“The ISF will deploy various checkpoints in the area of Tripoli, and we call on residents' cooperation," he said.

In his concluding statements, Kabbara denounced the attack against the Grand Serail, voicing his support for a peaceful demonstrations.
