Introduction to the evening news 26-10-2012

A truce took place in Syria and another in Tripoli. The first truce is still theoretically in effect, despite the fact that it was violated in several regions, leaving 47 dead, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. However, in Tripoli, the second truce turned into battles fought by children playing with plastic guns on the axes of the adults, between Bab al-Tebbaneh and Jabal Mohsen. The children, who are less than 10 years old, repeated the statements of the leaders, their insults, threats as well as their hatred.            

These trainings for the wars of the future are everything March 8 and 14 have left for the rising generation. These two sides witnessed on Thursday two setbacks at the same time.                    

In this context, the White March which started from Martyrs' Square to Sassine Square under the slogan "For those killed and being killed by the political and sectarian conflict", succeeded in attracting hundreds of young people. The march revealed that a new popular bloc erupted to refuse both options taking over the political life in the country.                

The achievement made by the civil society was followed by another one made by MP Walid Jumblatt during Kalam Ennas episode on Thursday evening where he expressed his support for the neutral position taken by the President Michel Sleiman, criticizing both former Prime Minister Saad Hariri and Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
