President Aoun: International community must intervene to prevent Israel from continuing its aggressions

President Michel Aoun followed up on Tuesday the developments in the occupied territories, in light of continuous Israeli attacks in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and the targeting of the al-Aqsa Mosque.

Aoun called on the International community to intervene to prevent Israel from continuing its aggressions, reaffirming that “there is no peace without justice, and no justice without respecting of rights”.

President Aoun also saluted the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, adding that “the tyranny of the principle of force, displacement and deprivation of rights will only lead to more violence and persistence in injustice and violation of International laws and resolutions related to the Palestinian people’s right to establish an independent state, with Jerusalem as its capital.”
