Army tightens security measures in Marjayoun

Marjayoun area is witnessing tight security measures after Friday’s events, as the army closed all roads leading to the Marjayoun Plain in exchange for the Mutla settlement inside the occupied interior.

The army set up checkpoints to prevent Palestinian marches from reaching the Lebanese borders and occupied Palestine after it called on the Palestinian factions present on all Lebanese lands and from the camps of Nahr al-Bared, Beddawi, Rashidiya and Ain al-Hilweh to go south in buses to participate in protest movements on the borders in solidarity with the Palestinians inside the occupied territories.
