Brax: No lifting of subsidies on fuel
The Member of the Syndicate of Petrol Station Owners in Lebanon George Brax noted in a phone call with the National News Agency (NNA) the General Directorate of Oil's announcement that oil installations in Tripoli and Zahrani have delivered 20 million liters of diesel to the local market this week, confirming that the market's needs will be secured next week.

He demanded Banque du Liban (BDL) to expedite the opening of credits and to give approvals to the ships at sea so that the needs of the local market of gasoline and diesel are secured, pointing out that diesel oil is available on ships at sea but BDL should not be late in opening the credits so that the scene of citizens rushing to petrol stations will not be repeated.

Brax also reassured that there is no lifting of subsidies on fuel.
